Canemure – Towards Carbon Neutral Municipalities and Regions is a six-year project implementing Finnish climate policy, funded by the EU Life programme. The project promotes regional climate work and concrete measures through expert guidance. In the Päijät-Häme region, the main activities include drafting a Climate Action Road Map to achieving climate neutrality by 2030, and facilitating co-operation between different actors to reach common aims. You can read more about the activities on the Climate Road Map webpage.

The Canemure consortium consists of 22 partners and 15 co-financiers, and is co-ordinated by the Finnish Environment Institute SYKE.  You can find more information about the project and about climate action at the carbonneutralfinland.fi webpage.
